"Weeping Juan is a gorgeous, pink, bubbly blend of 75% Vermentino and 25% Nero de Avola that hails from the sun soaked Basshams Organic Barmera Vineyard. 2024 was a near perfect vintage that was warm but not too hot, with cool nights and very little rain or humidity. Each varietal was harvested, direct-pressed and vinified separately in stainless steel tank with native yeast. Before fermentation is complete, the wines are blended and finish fermenting in the bottle to trap the CO2 and create a Pet Nat. Enticing aromatics of strawberry, ginger and rose, are followed by a crunchy delicious palate of cranberry, apricot and pomegranate. Bursting with untamed exuberance, Weeping Juan is a refreshing companion for a classic Ceviche with Sea Bass (unless you can find Corvina), or a spicy Thai Green Papaya Salad."
