Made from 100% Greco di Tufo, this wine takes its name from the volcanic subsoil—tufo—found in the vineyards of Campania where the grape thrives. The estate is managed by three notable producers: Massimo Alois, Carmine Valentino, and Gerardo Contrada, who are dedicated to showcasing the region’s native varietals. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in bottle for three months, the wine opens with aromas of apricot, melon rind, and pear. The elegant palate is bright and mineral-driven hints of white flower and raw almond. Enjoy it alongside mozzarella in carrozza, Campania’s answer to fried grilled cheese, or a classic spaghetti alle vongole.
