
Notes of fresh red fruits and spices, with a palate that is supple, light and finely tannic. Light in body, a touch sour with dark cherry and blackberry flavors, and balanced acid. Blend of Pineau d'Aunis (60%) and Cabernet Franc. After a short maceration, the Pineau d'Aunis is blended with Cabernet Franc free-run juice, and aging continues in vats for 6 months. Recommended to be served a little chilled. 'Loustic' translates to 'Joker' in English.
