"Ivan Enjingi is a leading natural winemaker in Croatia, whose family has been making wine in Slavonia for over 100 years. Indigenous Grasevina (AKA Welschriesling) grapes are hand-harvested and macerated with the skins for just 48 hours before aging in a combination of stainless steel tanks and Slavonian oak barrels (made by the Enjingi family!) for up to one year. The result is a compelling wine that's medium-bodied with refreshing acidity and flinty minerality. Floral and perfume aromatics like honeysuckle and jasmine lead to ripe stone fruit and pear flavors on the palate. A great choice if you’re looking for a unique sushi wine, or to drink with a rich, tangy cheese like feta or Lebanese shanklish."
