The 2024 Quinta do Poldrado Vinho Tinto represents the best of Quinta do's winemaking. This exceptional red is crafted in the heart of Trás-os-Montes, Portugal, benefitng from the local terroir. Pairing: A versatile choice for a variety of culinary pairings.
"Poldrado is a great value, unique Portuguese wine made from a field blend of obscure indigenous varietals including Bastardo, Tinta Carvalha, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Gorda, and Mourisco. Most of the vines are 30+ years old with some as old as 70. Farmed biodynamically, harvested by hand and stomped by foot, it’s vinified in granite tanks and aged in stainless for 9 months. Light to medium bodied, it exhibits ripe, wild black cherry and blackberry flavors with a woodsy undertone. Crisp and clean with a nice dry finish, this pairs perfectly with Portuguese sausages like Salpicão and Linguiça or a juicy cheddar cheeseburger."
