Eshcol is a beautiful, crisp but definitely not puckery, entry level Chardonnay from Trefethen Family Vineyards, a respected, established, Napa Valley winery. Aged in oak for 9 months but only 5% new, the toasty, vanilla and butterscotch notes are subtle yet present. Medium-bodied and clean with some fresh stone fruit and herbal notes, Eshcol pairs perfectly with poultry, pâtés and veggie terrines.
