"Located on the slopes of the iconic Montserrat mountain range in Catalunya, the Ca N'Estruc estate dates back to the 16th century. Since 2013, the winemaker Anna Martí Pitart has been bottling wines under her own label, from certified organic plots of 70 year old vines grown on their red clay and gravelly soil. This cuvée is a blend of traditional Cava varietals - 80% Xarel-lo, 10% Macabeu, and 10% Parellada. After fermentation in steel tank and aging in concrete egg, it's bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero added sulfur. This light to medium bodied white is crisp, clean and complex with fragrances of orange blossom, lime, almond, and a hint of ginger. The palate is medium-bodied with restrained pineapple and stone fruit flavors, refreshing acidity and a clean finish. Pairs beautifully with asparagus salad and garlicky grilled lemon shrimp skewers."
